Hello!
Thank you so much for being here!
My name is Nikki and my true passion is making art.
I use my vision and obsession with details to make every piece I create special and unique.
I struggle to post, share, or sell anything I don't absolutely love and feel proud of.
Outside of wire-wrapping and beading, I tattoo, paint, draw, sculpt in clay, and love to try any other outlet that lets me express myself through creation.
The Story
As someone who loves unique accessories,
I found there is a lack of personalized spoon jewelry.
When I got inspired and decided to make my own,
I found that there are many others who also want
more expressive, fun, versatile, and unique spoon-style
jewelry, and this realization led to the creation of Kraken Spoons.

I love to see friends, members of the EDM community, and anyone else have something they are proud of and want to show off; something expressive and unique. Making and providing some of those coveted objects not only improves your experience, but mine as well. I make all of my jewelry as though I am making them for myself.
All of my pieces are made by hand, by me personally. The spoons are wrapped, and often re-wrapped, individually with carefully picked color wires, charms, etc. They are attached very carefully and securely to their pendants and/or embellishments, and matching beaded charms are also made individually to match each product. Strung on necklaces or keychains, each product is made with great care, scrutiny, and love.
The Community
One of the traditions in EDM and among "ravers" or "festival-goer's" is creating and trading. Mostly seen in the form of beaded bracelets called "Kandi", the concept is much bigger than pretty colors and fun jewelry. In communal living, each person has a stock of one particular thing that they can then trade for things they need but don't have, thus creating a closer and stronger community. This practice is still seen in the festival/rave communities in a multitude of ways; from "take one and leave one" stations throughout
festivals to individual private vending tables in camps and, of course,
classic trades like items for food or shelter (or whatever is needed).
Through these traditions, I have learned that there are so many
talented artists in this community showcasing their art in endless forums.
Fire spinning, light dancing, DJing, and even things like decorating
and lighting are all examples of someone's beautiful vision coming to fruition.
These spoons are my artistic and expressive way to add my share of the beauty into the community.
Want to trade with me?
Like I said before, trading is a huge part of what makes our community special!
While I can't simply give out free products over the internet with the
promise of a trade, I do still want to accept legitimate trades.
If you want to trade with me, please purchase the product first.
Then contact me with the order number and what your proposed trade is.
Similar to "Frick Frack", I accept trades that are useful or meaningful to me, so it does need to be something that I would deem of "equal value". If I agree to the trade, I'll have you send your item(s) to me and when I receive and confirm the item(s), I will refund you for the trade and shipping cost to send the trade item(s)*.
This offer is only eligible for one store item per order, per person, per household. You may offer multiple items as trade. All trades must be approved in order to get refunded. Both the store item and the trade item being offered must be approved. Refund will be given for the cost of the single item agreed to and the cost to ship your items*. All trades are final and no items will be returned to you after they are sent. Refund will only be issued after the trade item(s) are received and verified. Not responsible for lost or damaged trade packages. If your trade is deemed to be not as represented or not of equal worth after it is received, you will be refunded only a partial amount of the agreed store item, or not refunded at all. Trade items must not be perishable or living in any way.
*Shipping costs to send trade items will only be refunded up to $6 USD
